are available for the CL4-SQL Server and it's corresponding
Client software. The software currently offered here include Client
and Server software for various platforms.

CL4-SQL Client Drivers
Client drivers are available in three flavours, ODBC, JDBC and
OLE/DB. Select which of these is appropriate for your uses. This
client is required for access to remote server facilities, and it
is essential to ensure you have the correct version of client driver
for your server.
CL4-SQL Servers
The CL4-SQL Server is a Unix-only-based server which
contains a few text comand-line style clients, but otherwise is
designed for remote access using the obove Windows-based client
drivers. The Client revision must match or exceed the OA Revision
marked in the table below.
Download the server executable only if an upgrade to your current
CL4-SQL version is only required. Please be aware that supporting
files (schemas, scripts, etc) must be compatible with the current
release if you are just replacing the server executable. Read the
Upgrade Notes
for more information about version compatibilities. In any case,
be aware that supporting scripts are constantly being upgraded,
and that it would be best to completely reinstall the server.

1.6b installation guide Readme.wri and the
implementation notes Implemnt.wri. For
version differences please read Release.wri.
